Executive VP of Growth
Andrew Kay is the Executive Vice President of Growth at Dermatology Partners. Andrew graduated from Drexel University's LeBow College of Business with a bachelor's degree in Marketing and Legal Studies. A few years later while working for the Department of Defense he went back to school at night to receive his MBA from Drexel University in Entrepreneurship and Marketing. Prior to joining Dermatology Partners in 2021, his career was in government contracts, most recently at International SOS as the Global Director of Contracts and Compliance where he managed the TRICARE Overseas Program contract.
Andrew brings extensive knowledge and experience in the areas of corporate growth, operational process/procedures development and management, leadership, managing large teams and quality improvement. In his role as Vice President of Growth & Business Development, Andrew focuses on assisting in overseeing and identifying efficiencies with current operations and working to continue the expansion and growth of Dermatology Partners.
Andrew currently resides in Blue Bell with his wife Michelle and sons Marley & Dylan. In his free time he enjoys attending concerts, spending time at the Margate beach, Philadelphia sports (including his Philly Spectrum S project), traveling and all things Philly.

Chief Financial Officer
Chris has graduated from Villanova University with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and earned his CPA in 2003 while working for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Philadelphia. His previous experience, he has worked for a durable medical equipment company that grew during his time there from $150 million in annual revenue to $2 billion through over 70 acquisitions and organic growth and he led the finance team to take the company public in 2019. He is focusing on streamlining all finance and reporting processes to gain maximum efficiencies while increasing the financial control environment.
Chris resides in Collegeville with his wife Dawn and five children, Reese, Grayson, Jack, Grant, and Brody, who spend as much time as possible together with school, church, and sports activities.

Senior Director of Clinical Development
Andrew Vail is the Senior Director of Clinical Development at Dermatology Partners. Since joining the organization in 2021, Andrew has been instrumental in shaping clinical operations, compliance programs, and provider support across the practice’s expanding footprint.
With more than 15 years of experience in dermatology, Andrew brings a unique blend of clinical expertise and operational insight. He began his career as a medical and surgical assistant, where he developed a first-hand understanding of patient care. He later played a key role in launching a de novo dermatology practice and went on to manage multi-site operations for a regional dermatology group, overseeing compliance, workflow, and provider relations.
In his current role, Andrew works closely with Dermatology Partners' clinical teams to improve workflow efficiency, optimize use of systems and tools, and provide direct support to providers. His focus is on ensuring that every clinician has the resources, structure, and support needed to deliver efficient, high-quality, and fulfilling care.
Andrew continues to oversee compliance initiatives for the organization, maintaining a strong commitment to regulatory excellence and patient safety.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Drexel University, with a concentration in Organismal Biology and Physiology.
Outside of work, Andrew and his wife enjoy exploring Philadelphia’s vibrant food and brewery scene, supporting the Philadelphia Eagles, and spending time with their family in Bucks County.

Medical Triage Manager
Barbara began her journey with the Dermatology Partners family over 10 years ago. She joined our practice as a Medical Assistant for general dermatology and had the privilege of expanding her knowledge and assisting in surgical procedures, central surgical scheduling, and marketing. Over the years Barbara has proven to be loyal, dedicated, and passionate in providing excellent patient and customer care. She strives to improve and build a productive customer/patient focused team who are enthusiastically committed to achieving outstanding customer service standards. Her knowledge and experience in the field has made her a great fit to manage our company’s Patient Customer Service Team.
She is excited to be a part of the company’s rapid growth and ongoing success and looks forward to continuing her individual development and growth with the practice.
Outside of work, she loves volunteering for animal welfare and serving the less fortunate in her community. For peace and relaxation, she loves to walk the trails, read, and cook. Her best moments are those spent with her family, her dog, and two cats.

Medical Assistant Training and Compliance Manager
After a career change from being a licensed cosmetologist, and wanting to be more involved with healthcare, Blair decided to go back to school to be a Medical Assistant. She was inspired by her friends and family, who are apart of the medical field. With a few weeks left of her externship from Berks Technical Institute, she started working at Dermatology Partners. She has been with Dermatology Partners since 2017.
Over the past several years, our providers helped nurture her growth and fuel her passion for Dermatology, to become a well rounded Medical Assistant. This has lead her to become a new given opportunity within the company - A Medical Assistant Training and Compliance Manager to help take on training Medical Assistants that have joined Dermatology Partners and help further educate established staff.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her son that keeps her on her toes as they are always on the go. She is a huge sports fan, especially football, hunting, and fishing.

Director of Operations & IT, Technology and Facilities
When Cesar Aviles' original field of study, Mechanical Engineering didn’t work out, he switched over to his other passion – technology. He has been building state-of-the-art server and network systems for the last 10 years and enjoys testing IT framework resources to effectively and efficiently grow the enterprise. Cesar also strategizes and implements service provider partnerships as it relates to each individual office. He reports directly to the COO who he works in tandem with.
Cesar has a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems and Management (ISAM), as well as various other IT certifications.
Outside of work, Cesar enjoys outdoor adventures. His passions include his faith, family, and friends. He has two children and is active in all of their activities and learning. In his spare time, he volunteers for a local nonprofit helping at risk youth in Berks County, the Million Youth Chess Club. His goal is to transition into a seasoned CIO.

Procurement Manager & Surgical Medical Assistant
Christi was born in Pottstown and raised in the Birdsboro area. Her husband is retired Army and they have lived in Ft Bragg, NC and Clarksville, TN before retiring in Pottstown, PA to be near family in 2015, when Christi started at Dermatology Partners.
Christi fills the roles of surgical medical assistant in our Pottstown clinic for Dr. Barak. Christi also oversees all medical supply ordering, ensuring that all offices are appropriately provisioned on an ongoing basis.
She and her husband have two children, Dylan and Tyler, who keep them very busy with all their sports. They also enjoy traveling and kayaking.

Director of Patient Services
Emily Miller is an experienced healthcare leader with a strong background in customer service and clinical laboratory management. With over 11 years of industry experience, Emily has gained expertise in various areas, including process improvement, automation initiatives, department metrics, standard operating procedures, and employee development.
In her most recent role, Emily was responsible for leading a multi-regional, full-service medical laboratory call center. This position required her to oversee the operations of the call center, ensuring efficient and high-quality customer service to patients and healthcare providers. Additionally, she spearheaded process improvement and automation initiatives to streamline operations and enhance productivity. Emily also played a key role in building department metrics to measure performance and track progress.
Throughout her career, Emily has achieved notable accomplishments and awards. One such achievement was leading the implementation of contact center software, which involved integrating new technologies to improve communication and efficiency within the call center. Emily was awarded the CEO Award for Innovation in 2019 for implementing an automation strategy within the call center, and her organization's Healthcare Professional Hero Award in 2022 for which she was nominated by her team. She has also been successful in managing hospital integrations, ensuring smooth transitions and effective collaboration between different healthcare entities.
Outside of her passion for patient care, Emily enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, two sons, and pets. She has recently developed a passion for horticulture, which involves the study and cultivation of plants. Emily also finds joy in listening to music and taking day trips on weekends.

Front Desk Training and Compliance Manager
Holly previously worked at WellSpan Health for six years at the front desk and the head role model for new employees. When Holly first started with Dermatology Partners in 2020, she was our front desk receptionist at our Dermatology Partners - West Lawn office. She was also our lead trainer for new employees. This has lead her to become a new given opportunity within the company - A Front Desk Training and Compliance Manager to help take on training new Front Desk Employees that have joined Dermatology Partners and help further educate established staff.
She has a passion for helping others and watching her coworkers learn and grow. She likes to be known for being a hard worker and not letting "the grass grow under her feet."
Outside of work, you can find Holly working part-time at Dave's Diner in Adamstown, Pennsylvania, where she has worked for the past 15 years. When she's not working, she likes to spend time with her husband at a dirt racetrack, hanging out at home with her three cats or having family game night with her four parents. Holly also really enjoys spending time at the beach looking for the perfect seashell or eating her favorite food, Blue Claw Crabs.

Regional Practice Manager - Berks & The Lehigh Valley
Jenna Mulligan, Regional Practice Manager, is a local Berks Technical Institute graduate with a Specialized Business Degree in Electronic Health Records. Her passion is to provide superior customer service while being a key player in the essential daily functions of a successful and growing company. Jenna previously worked at an OB/GYN practice within the Tower Health network gaining crucial medical practice experience. Jenna wanted to let her creative personality and critical thinking shine through so she chose a different career direction and joined the Dermatology Partners team in 2019. Jenna strives to have a strong work ethic and pays close attention to detail. Her knowledge enforces being open minded when a situation arises and concludes all facts before addressing the task at hand. Jenna’s ongoing goal is to create efficiencies and consistently improve the overall patient experience by interfacing with multiple individuals.
Jenna maintains part-time employment of 10 years at Red Robin Gourmet Burgers. When she is not working she likes to spend time with her family and friends, go shopping, bake, and dance. Her favorite candies are peanut M&Ms and Sour Patch Kids.

Director of Training
As our Director of Training, Joe brings over 20 years of experience as a learning, training, operations and organizational development leader to our team. A proven history of creating transformative learning experiences, Joe is deeply committed to equipping teams with the tools & skills they need to personally develop and to drive organizational growth & success.
Known for fostering synergistic communication & facilitating cross-functional partnerships, Joe has made a lasting impact on the individuals and organizations served throughout his career in retail, customer service, logistics, and the technology arenas. At Dermatology Partners, Joe leads innovation in talent development and training, aligning employee growth with organizational goals to enhance engagement and success. Committed to continuous improvement, he builds on the company’s strong foundation to shape the future of training, delivering exceptional outcomes for employees and patients alike.
In his spare time, Joe enjoys landscape & event design, spending time with his partner camping, going to the beach, traveling and numerous outdoor activities.

HR Business Partner
Kristin has an extensive background in Retail Management where she discovered her passion for hiring top talent, coaching and developing a team to be strong in their roles and to grow with the company.
In her free time she enjoys gardening, learning to cook, traveling, going to the driving range with her nephew Ethan and spending time with her family and friends. Kristin is an Eagles fan and during the football season she is glued to the TV for the games.

Director of Marketing and Communications
Marissa Cockrell is the Director of Marketing and Communications at Dermatology Partners, where she leads brand strategy, growth marketing, and community engagement across the organization’s expanding network. With a passion for storytelling, operational excellence, and patient-centered outreach, she has played a key role in positioning Dermatology Partners as a trusted provider of dermatologic care across multiple states.
Marissa most recently held the role of Director of Marketing and Communications at the American Heart Association, where she led impactful campaigns focused on cardiovascular health, community wellness, and health equity. Prior to her work in healthcare, she spent over 15 years in professional and collegiate athletics, holding creative roles at NFL Films, Major League Baseball, and the University of South Carolina. Her storytelling campaigns earned three Emmy Awards, seven Telly Awards, and 10 Sports Video Group Collegiate Awards.
A respected voice in her field, Marissa has served as a guest speaker and presenter at national conventions, sharing her expertise on brand marketing, workflow management, and leadership in healthcare and media. In recognition of her impact, she was named one of the Top 100 Health & Wellness Professionals in 2025 by Redwood Media and was included in the 2024 edition of Marquis Who’s Who in America’s Professionals.
Marissa is also the founder of the Women’s Sports Video Group, an initiative dedicated to mentoring and elevating women in the sports media production industry. She actively volunteers with several organizations, including her local animal shelter, school board, and the American Heart Association. She also leads skin cancer screening awareness efforts for veterans, first responders, and underserved communities.
Marissa earned her Master of Science degree in Communications and holds dual undergraduate degrees in Electronic Media and English/Professional Writing from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania.
Outside of work, Marissa and her husband Chris, a retired Army captain, enjoy raising their four daughters—Caitlynn, Caroline, and identical twins Kelsea and Kinsley. She loves photography, gardening, holiday decorating, and family trips to Wildwood Crest and Disney World.

Laboratory Manager
Michael's introduction to the medical industry was in 2006 as a dispatcher with Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. He then became the transportation supervisor and also worked as a CNA at Phoenixville Medical Center. While there, he made some great friends and was given an opportunity to join a small, but growing dermatology team in Douglassville. Five years later, he is now the manager of the in-house laboratory where he and his staff are responsible for processing approximately 95% of the biopsies that get sent from all of our offices. The lab has worked very hard to achieve a twenty-four-hour turnaround time while also maintaining a positive attitude through even the busiest of days.
In his free time, Mike enjoys fishing, hiking, camping, and spending time with his kitty cat Sebastian (sea bass).

Director of Human Resources
Paula Martin, Director of Human Resources, has an established background in Human Resources with over 15 years of experience in the field. Paula joined the Dermatology Partners team in 2019. Her expertise includes conflict resolution, regulatory compliance, and employee relations. In her most recent role, she was responsible for the Human Resource oversight of acquisitions and de novo growth for the largest behavioral healthcare company in Pennsylvania.
Paula has a passion for helping people and the continual improvement of the HR process to build an exceptional and respected Human Resource department. She has successfully established a Human Resource department while maintaining HR best practices with minimal disruption to clinical and administrative services. Paula has supported and interfaced with diverse leadership teams and created efficiencies to ensure the continued success of the organization.
Paula lives in South Coventry with her husband, two sons, and dog Rhino. When Paula is not working, she likes to spend time in the outdoors camping, gardening, working on home renovation projects, and crafting.

Controller
Raymond Britton brings over eight years of experience in accounting and financial analysis to Dermatology Partners. He holds both a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master’s in Accounting from Cabrini University. With a passion for optimizing accounting processes and driving profitability through analytics and technology, Raymond has built a successful career in corporate accounting.
Before joining Dermatology Partners, Ray served as an Accounting Manager at AdaptHealth, where he led the migration to Oracle ERP, improving financial visibility and automating revenue procedures. His leadership extended to managing a team responsible for over $3 billion in annualized revenue, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and SOX standards. Ray's keen attention to detail and ability to streamline processes have consistently contributed to more efficient operations and financial accuracy. Ray is excited to be able to bring his expertise in accounting and financial management to Dermatology Partners, where he looks forward to supporting the company’s growth and operational success.
When he's not crunching numbers, Raymond spends all of his free time with wife Katherine and two boys, Noah and Luke. He also enjoys bowling, family trips to the zoo and vacations in Wildwood.

Regional Practice Manager - Montgomery, Chester, & Delaware County
Retisa is a clinical and healthcare administration leader with over 15 years of experience in multi-discipline patient care and multi-site management. She has managed Pediatric, Family and Internal Medicine as well as Reproductive Health for public, private, and hospital systems. Her expertise includes operational improvement, clinical efficiencies, and staff development. Some of Retisa’s accomplishments over the years have been electronic medical record systems implementations, traditional to direct primary care practice transitions, and participating in recruitment, on-boarding, and retention initiatives. This has led to improved operational effectiveness, and increased overall patient and staff satisfaction.
She enjoys the challenge of risk identification and remediation. Retisa graduated from Peirce College where she studied Health Information Technology.
Outside of her love for patient care, Retisa enjoys time with family, shoe shopping, and traveling.

Billing Manager
Shawna graduated from Widener University in 2005 with a B.A. in Behavioral Science. Before joining Dermatology Partners, she amassed many years of experience in the retail management field. Throughout her tenure in retail, Shawna discovered a passion for training and fostering strong team dynamics among coworkers.
In a notable career transition, Shawna received a certificate in medical billing and coding, leading to her employment at Dermatology Partners in 2018 within the customer service center as a scheduler. Progressing within the organization, she transitioned into billing, enhancing her expertise in medical billing practices, including investigating insurance denials, managing appeals, and overseeing cash posting.
Recognized for her dedication and proficiency, Shawna was promoted to Billing Manager in 2023. In this capacity, her primary focus is on cultivating a team of billers well-versed in overturning insurance denials, staying informed about the dynamic healthcare landscape, and maintaining empathy towards patients' financial concerns.
Outside of work, Shawna resides in Douglassville with her husband Mike and their dog Shelby. She cherishes spending quality time with loved ones and enjoys boating in Maryland during her leisure moments.

Regional Practice Manager - Philadelphia, Bucks County, & Delaware
Suzanne Strybuc is a senior level healthcare administrator with more than a 30 year history of managing multi-site organizations. This has included private physician practices such as: Hematology/Oncology; Gastroenterology and Primary Care. She has demonstrated expertise in front line operations and clinical workflow. Her skill set is particularly strong in procedure development, operational efficiencies and team building. Some of Suzanne’s accomplishments over the years have been operational reorganization. This has led to improved operational effectiveness, enhanced physician referrals and increased overall patient satisfaction.
Suzanne has a history of implementing centralized Call Centers for patient access that has included up to 25 providers and several locations. She has also initiated ground level implementation of office based pathology labs. Along with coordinating an intravenous infusion suite. She enjoys the challenge of practice moves and expansions.
Suzanne is a graduate of Katherine Gibbs School of Business and has studied at Holy Family University. She joined Dermatology Partners in 2019 and is extremely excited to be part of the management team.
In her down time, Suzanne enjoys spending time with her family and is an avid Philly sports fan.
