Esteemed Dermatologist, Dr. Irving Wolfe, Set to Retire After Decades of Service
Owings Mills, MD — ( June 17, 2025) - Dermatology Partners is proud to welcome board-certified dermatologist Dr. Michael Hong, MD, to its Owings Mills, Maryland office beginning July 1, 2025.

Originally from Seoul, Korea, Dr. Hong has called Baltimore home since 2012. He completed his undergraduate studies at Johns Hopkins University and earned his medical degree from the University of Maryland. He went on to complete his preliminary year in Internal Medicine at Sinai Hospital and his Dermatology Residency at the University of Maryland, where he trained at the University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC) and the Baltimore VA Medical Center.
In addition to skin cancer care, Dr. Hong’s clinical interests include treating acne, rosacea, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and hair loss.

As Dr. Hong joins the practice, Dermatology Partners is also preparing to honor the extraordinary career of Dr. Irving Wolfe, who is retiring after more than 50 years of dedicated service to the Owings Mills community. Dr. Wolfe has been a cornerstone of dermatologic care, known for his clinical excellence, warmth, and lifelong commitment to his patients.
Patients currently under Dr. Wolfe’s care will be seamlessly transitioned to Dr. Hong. No action is required at this time. In the coming weeks, the team at Dermatology Partners will work to ensure all existing patients are scheduled with the provider best suited to their individual needs.
