Mohs Micrographic Surgery Fellow
Ali Rajabi, MD, FAAD, FACMS, completed his dermatology training at the Department of Dermatology at Broward Health Medical Center, Fort Lauderdale, FL, where he excelled as a top-performing resident and was honored as a Resident of the Year in Dermatology Surgery. Dr. Rajabi also completed his residency preliminary year at the Department of Surgery, University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Florida. Currently, Dr. Rajabi is partaking in a Mohs Micrographic Surgery fellowship at Dermatology Partners - Drexel Hill under the tutelage of Anthony Benedetto, DO, FACP, FACMS. He will also be performing general dermatology during his fellowship.
Dr. Rajabi also served as a Clinical Dermatology Research Fellow at the Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. His research spans various fields, including skin cancers (melanoma and non-melanoma), nail tumors, hair disorders, laser applications, scars, and advanced skin imaging technologies such as Optical Coherence Tomography.
More than 100 peer-reviewed articles and chapters in textbooks in the field of dermatology have featured Dr. Rajabi as either a lead or co-author. He also contributes to the field as a peer reviewer for esteemed journals, including the Journal of European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, Lasers in Medical Science, and Dermatologic Therapy, etc.
Dr. Rajabi remains dedicated to advancing dermatology through research, innovation, and exceptional patient care with a special interest in hair loss, cosmetic and laser surgery, as well as dermatologic surgery.
