New Office Opens September 15, Will Be Led by Experienced Provider Alan Himmelsbach, MS, MSN, CRNP / ARNP
Kutztown, PA (9//25) – Dermatology Partners, the premier, privately owned and physician-led dermatology group, are proud to announce they are joining the Kutztown community at 15050 Kutztown Road, 1st Floor, in Kutztown.
Alan Himmelsbach, MS, MSN, CRNP / ARNP, a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with more than two decades of experience in dermatology and emergency medicine, lead this new office, slated to open September 15.
Himmelsbach has extensive experience in both medical and surgical dermatology and has trained alongside a Mohs surgeon while working in a variety of dermatologic settings across Pennsylvania and Iowa. In addition to his dermatology expertise, Himmelsbach has provided emergency care in hospital settings and served as a correctional medicine provider, managing acute, chronic, and dermatologic conditions for underserved populations.

A respected educator and lecturer, Himmelsbach has served as a guest lecturer at Johns Hopkins School of Nursing and presented to professional organizations and community groups. He is known for his compassionate approach, quick clinical decision-making, and ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues alike. His clinical interests include skin cancer detection and treatment, surgical dermatology, and patient education.
Himmelsbach earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Villanova University, graduating cum laude, and went on to complete his Master of Science in Nursing, Adult Nurse Practitioner program at Johns Hopkins University. He also holds a Master of Science in Human Organization Science from Villanova University and a Bachelor of Science from Purdue University.
